Raising Awareness of Mental Health

The Peer Education Project is a classroom intervention to support peers with emotional well-being. It involves the recruitment of students as Peer Educators who are trained to deliver a lesson on mental health to Year 9 students within their school. The project has been found to show increased awareness, reduction in stigma and increased resilience in regard to mental health.
