MySleep – the fantastic new MyMind resource

In April 2013, CWP’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Wirral was commissioned to deliver a sleep service for children and young people.

The service is staffed by 4 trained sleep practitioners, an assistant psychologist and a support worker.

The service offers:

  • tailored behavioural sleep interventions for families of children who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum condition (ASC), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and/or Learning Disability.
  • consultations to professionals based in Wirral working with families where sleep is a concern.

Whilst the service currently only accepts referrals from paediatricians; we believe it is important that everyone should be able to access information and resources about improving children’s sleep. ‘MySleep’ is MyMind’s fantastic new resource and includes information sheets, visual timetables, reward charts, podcasts and comic book stories to encourage good sleep.  For more information please click here.
