East Cheshire is an area of diverse need. This is reflected in the range of presenting issues when children and young people are referred to our CAMH service. In order to meet those needs the service constantly strives to review and strengthen our provision. We aim at all times to work alongside children, young people and their families to achieve this.

Please note – Children, Young People and their Families whose General Practitioner (GP) is based in Cheshire West and Chester Areas are likely to be seen by West Cheshire CAMHS and those in Cheshire East are likely to be seen by East Cheshire CAMHS. If you are unsure of which area you come under, please contact one of our area teams for guidance.

The service is provided via locally based teams, who offer, following assessment, intervention based on what the issues are and what the young people and families want to gain. This intervention will be from a broad range of therapeutic practices, consultation and advice.
