The Team of Life was originally developed by David Denborough (co-director of the Dulwich Centre, Australia, one of the homes of Narrative Therapy), which has been adapted into a resilience programme by Dr Vicky Eames (clinical psychologist) on behalf of CWP.

The Team of Life Kit enables practitioners to deliver the new Team of Life programme. It has been developed as a cost effective and sustainable package aiming to support practitioners and organisations wishing to promote positive mental health, emotional well-being and resilience among children and young people.

About the Team of Life Programme

The programme can be facilitated with groups of children and young people in school, health or community settings. It includes 10 one-hour sessions that can be delivered as a series or adapted for more intensive delivery over full or half days.

Each session follows the same structure so young people know what to expect:

Getting ready to take that penalty shot  takes focus . . .

Included with the resource is the Team of Life ‘Zone-in’ podcast, which introduces children and young people to the practice of mindfulness by building on existing skills and experience of ‘zoning in’ within sport.
