Feedback wanted on our 4D Toolkit

Our innovative 4D Toolkit was launched on mymind.org.uk  earlier this year.

The 4D toolkit was collaboratively developed with young people attending Dialectical Behaviour Therapy within Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP).

DBT combines two different positions to help you manage the experiences that you find difficult to cope with.  These different positions both contain their own two skill sets to help you master a dialectical approach.

Acceptance

Mindfulness and Distress Tolerance skills with DBT can help you understand and accept yourself (including your situation, experiences, emotions and behaviours).

Change

Interpersonal Effectiveness and Emotional Regulation skills within DBT encourages you to change behaviours from those that may be harmful to those that will help you to move your life forward.

4D toolkit

The toolkit is 20 prompt cards which support young people to learn and practice a different DBT skill.  Each card has a unique QR code which takes you to a support page within mymind.org.uk.

The 4D Toolkit is currently being piloted by DBT groups.  We want to ensure that the toolkit is  useful and effective for both individual’s using the cards and clinicians running the groups and need your help to do this.

If you are a young person or adult who has been given a set of cards to support the learning of DBT skills  could you please give your feedback here

If you are a clinician who is using the cards with young people or adults as part of facilitating  DBT groups please give your feedback here

Thank you
